I’ve always loved baseball. I played it and dreamed to be in the major leagues one day. What young boy wouldn’t? But it didn’t happen due to some injuries as well as too many late nighters.
I like the New York Yankees…they are my main team but I also like the New York Mets as well.
I have a rotisserie team online but only for fun and when I have time….I’ll track them like I’m acting as the GM. Now the Mets aren’t doing well but I do see a few studs that are going to really or have already become all star players. Ryan Church came to the Mets during the off season.
He played fairly well in spring training but I never actually heard of him. He never really played a full season and he has been out for a while with a concussion. I think he really could be the next star if they can get him into at least 150 games.
I thought the same about David Wright and he’s the Mets best player.

Hurricane season is coming. Are you ready?
When hurricane season is approaching, most people focus on safeguarding their homes. If a hurricane is severe enough your car may be your only key to safety.
If using your car to get to a safer place, make sure your car is ready for a hurricane or a possible evacuation and that you understand how to drive in severe storm conditions.

Make sure you have a full tank of gas before a storm arrives. |

Store a crate in your trunk with emergency supplies:
|
a first aid kit
duct tape
jumper cables for a dead battery
one or two blankets
a flashlight
bottled water
some sealed, shelf-stable food (like energy bars)
some basic tools like a screwdriver and pliers
a couple of brightly colored cloths to tie on your rear-view mirror to signal for help if you need it

Make sure you have a good spare tire. |

If you’re evacuating, bring your (fully charged) cell phone. |

If you’re evacuating or returning home after a hurricane, avoid driving through water.
The average car can be swept off the road by as little as 12″ of moving water. According to the National Hurricane Center, more than half of all hurricane deaths in the last 30 years have resulted from inland flooding. Of those deaths, one in four was someone who drowned in her car. Find an alternate route. |

If your vehicle stalls in deep water, you may need to restart the engine to make it to safety.
Please know, however, that restarting may cause severe damage to your engine. If you can’t restart your vehicle and you become trapped in rising water, IMMEDIATELY ABANDON IT FOR HIGHER GROUND. If you’re unable to get out of the vehicle safely, call 911 or get help from a passerby or someone standing on higher ground. |

After you and your vehicle are out of deep water and in a safe area, depress your brakes slowly several times to help dry them out. |
And remember, if you’re evacuating an area and leaving your car behind, be sure it’s not left in a low-lying area prone to flooding. Rising water can seep in and damage your vehicle.

Century Village Condo’s for sale- Real Estate Market Report as of November 2007
Keeping an eye on the local Real Estate market can be a bit challenging from a distance .Every now and then…wouldn’t it be nice to borrow someone’s eyes and ears in our area for an occasional update on the neighborhoods values?

It seems like it is a good time for our Canadian clients to invest in a second home in FL in Century Village. The Canadian dollar exchange rate has been hovering between $1.01 and $1.10. That is still good news for our past,present and future clients. In general ..”it is a great time to buy a home in Florida.”

I would like to expose the fact that I am now called the ”slimiest Realtor “in Florida
…but in a different way.
Normally when I take a listing I pledge to devote all my time and effort into servicing the client by helping them understand our current market. I will also offer my services in another way. I am pretty handy and that has helped me cultivate even more business by offering a talent that most realtor’s dread and that is by assisting my clients with manual labor. I know…manual labor? It isn’t enough that I am always holding their hands and trying to make a transaction end up smooth. Last week I had taken this listing in Pembroke Pines Florida and it is priced pretty well and hopefully will sell sooner than later. When I met with the owners I mentioned a few things that needed to be done on the outside to make it more curb appealing. Two things I noticed that needed to be done was replenish the mulch in every bed in the front yard and one other thing….there was a bad case of slime growing all over the main entry archway. 
I told them it was not an insult to them but it needed to be taken care of and so I offered to help them remove it. Yesterday I put on a pair of old shorts and a t shirt and went to their home got on a ladder and sprayed a few coats of bleach on all the spots and let it sit and then I hosed it down. In the meantime the homeowners were staring at me and could not believe how great it came out and thanked me for thinking of a very easy way to remove it and it didn’t cost them anything. After all was done I was now soaked from head to toe in dirty water and green slime that actually was stuck to my body.
I know that because I went the “extra mile” they will remember me and what I did for them. So now my good name in the industry has changed. Every time you hear the name Neal Bloom you will know that I am the “slimiest Realtor in Florida.”

Welcome to Towngate-A place to live with Family Values. Located in Pembroke Pines FL.
Easy access from I75…between Pines Blvd and Sheridan Street.
The community broke ground in the mid 1990’s and most of the first homes completed occurred in 1996 and the project was completed in 1999. I happen to have lived in one of the last subdivisions that was completed.
The community consists of about 2000 homes…the break down is approximately 14 subdivisions…..which include 2 subdivisions of town-homes and the other 16 are single family homes of all different shapes and sizes. Available were dry lots…with premium lake front and pool lots. All of the subdivisions are gated accept for Mahogany Way and the two town-home subdivisions.

Pembroke Pines is a fabulous place to live. The schools
in Pembroke Pines are very close by. Many people who move here love the convenience of being close to shopping,entertainment,restaurants and all major highways.
When I was looking for a place to live we chose Towngate because of the convenience of the school and travel was less than 5 minutes.
An on-site state of the art workout facility that is open daily and located right nest to the community clubhouse. Remove some of that daily stress by exercising right in your own neighborhood facility.
Towngate also has the luxury of having 8 concrete tennis courts available right inside the community. Within walking distance of most subdivisions..the community also holds clinics for all ages available at the tennis facility. Play for instruction or just play for fun.
